Dr. Tanya Jackins, DNP, FNP-BC

Fourteen years ago, my son with special needs inspired me to pursue a career in nursing. I completed my BSN at UW after completing my ADN at Centralia Community College. Since then, I have worked in a variety of settings, including primary care, cardiac immediate care, critical care, neonatal intensive care, and oncology. I made the decision to return to school for my doctorate in nursing after the passing of my son Chase. I received my doctorate in nursing with a Family Practice concentration from Baylor University this May. I am excited to pay it forward by providing compassionate, evidence-based care. In my free time I love traveling with my boyfriend, watching the 49-ers and spending time with my grandchildren.
